has been working with IntelliCAD since its early Beta releases.
Reid is currently providing training for both Intellicad 98 and
IntelliCAD 2000.
What can IntelliCAD 98 do that AutoCAD R14 can't? How about
opening several DWG files in ONE
IntelliCAD session. This allows you to CTRL+TAB between drawings.
Better yet, tile them vertically and you can start the Copy (or
other commands) in one drawing, drag your cursor into the other
drawing, and copy the entities! IntelliCAD can also UNDO and REDO
(that's right, unlimited redo!) as many times as you
want it to.
Many of the dialog boxes you need to configure AutoCAD have been
recombined in IntelliCAD into one or two dialog boxes, thus
making it much easier to adjust settings. The DRAWING EXPLORER
combines 11 AutoCAD R14 commands and dialog boxes including: ddrename,
purge, layer (ddlmodes), linetype (ddltype), style (ddstyle),
dducs, ddview, bmake, ddinsert, xref, and wblock!
The CUSTOMIZE dialog box allows you to create custom pulldown
menus, toolbars, keyboard shortcuts, and command aliases. The
DRAWING SETTINGS dialog box combines ddunits, ddrmodes
(R13), ddosnap, ddselect, ddgrips, plus a whole slew
of other commands.
IntelliCAD 2000 continues its tradition of compatibilty with
AutoCAD, adding new hatching and text features. All for under
$200!
